AYURVEDIC CONSULTATION CAMP FOR “VATA” DISEASES

According to Ayurveda, our body is made up of 3 humours viz. - Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Among them, ancient scholars have considered Vata or Vayu as Life, Strength and Sustains our body. The two basic functions of Vayu in the body are movement and sensation from cellular level to macro level. It helps in normal functioning of the nervous system, development of foetus, circulation, respiration, hearing, speech and maintains the vital energy i.e. “PRAAN”; so on and so forth. Scientifically Vayu has many roles and is much more than gasses. Vayu’s field of dominance is never ending. Such Vayu may get vitiated by cold, prolonged fasting, unwholesome fast food, excessive movements such as leaping, jumping and physical exercise, malnourishment, anxiety, grief and illness etc. This leads to disease of Vata. Pain (Vedana) is the cardinal symptom of Vaat-Vyadhi.
